"Hey Canada, what are you doing here?" Radio opened the door enough for him to trudge inside. He merely laughed nervously, and scratched his neck.

"W-well, I just wanted to....to see you is all!" The Canadian blushed red as she eyed him suspiciously  Radio knew Matthew ever since they were young, and not once has he been this....straightforward.

"Hmmm.....fine. What do you want to do?" Matthew followed her to the kitchen where Radio began chopping up some carrots. He tried thinking of an activity of sorts, but stopped once he heard her swear.

"Dang it, not another cut!" Radio went to get the first aid kit and was genuinely surprised when Canada held it up to her.

"Here, let me help you. Calida," Canada started, using her Island name. He only ever did this if he was serious. "We all see the cuts on....on your arms and face. America told me to come over to help you." Crimson eyes met violet, and Radio quickly pushed Matthew to the side, now washing some dishes.

"Matthew I don't need help. I'm fine with how it is right now." She looked back and smiled at him. "I promise you, I can handle this on my own." The Canadian shuffled around the room, his nervousness coming around.

'But....I can't just leave her like this.' You see, for some time now, Matthew has felt an attraction toward Radio. She was the first one to see him in elementary school and ever since then, they've been together constantly. They both were quiet so everything was peaceful. And she was beautiful to him. Her rainbow hair glistened in the sun. Her eyes shined bright as he looked at her. To him, she was everything he wanted, but....he was too shy. And now, when she needs help, he can't even do that. For once he wanted to-

"Man up." Matthew muttered. Radio never heard him, so she was caught from surprise when she felt a hand on her shoulder and twirled her around.

"Calida. I am going to help you get better."

"Canada, I don't need  he-"

"You do, and I'm sorry, but I'm not taking no for an answer!" Radio widened her eyes; not once has she ever heard Matthew shout at her, at anybody! This confidence that Matthew was having seemed....so weird, but....oddly...nice.
Matthew lead her to the bathroom, where he grabbed a wet cloth and started rubbing where the scars were. After, he applied some rubbing alcohol. Radio winced slightly at the touch.

"Sorry. But it's good for you." was all Matthew said before he went back to applying the item. Soon, he was finished as gave the last cut a little tap.
"There. All better."

Radio let her hair fall into her face as her cheeks were dusted by red.
"Thank you Canada." Looking back up, she gave a shy smile towards him. Canada, suddenly realizing what he did, started shaking and mumbling incoherent words.

"I-I'ts....F-fin-nee-e." His face started burning from embarrassment. His faced heated up even more when Radio kissed his cheek.

"No. Thank you. So much." She walked out of the bathroom, heading into the kitchen.

"Canada, come help me make some food!" Matthew chuckled before heading over to where she was, his heart thumping the same speed as hers.
