Anime Show: Naruto (Shippuden time)
Anime Character: Shikamaru
Your Character Name: Masaaki Kitsune
Age:16
Looks: Long, red hair in two low pigtails that reach to her waist, and bright grey eyes. She wears a white lily on the left side of her head. She is usually dressed in a long, black dress that is form fitting on top, but split up to her mid-thingh to make it easy to fight and move around in. She always has her sais strapped to the outside of her thighs and a holder with kunai hanging from her waist. She wears her head protecter around her waist with the symbol on her right hip.
Personality: Witty and sarcastic, but knows when it is time to be serious. She is fairly laid back, and very intelligent. She's only herself with her best friends, which include Tenten and Hinata. She's never gotten along with Sakura or Ino because she detests fan-girls and the way they act. Everytime she's around Shikamaru, though, she becomes very shy, and says little.
History(optional): Grew up in the leaf village and became a ninja as soon as she could. She's always been driven to protect her home and family.
What you want the story to be about(optional): Maybe a mission with stargazing/cloud-watching after? Anything, really, as long as it's good, ne?
Happy/Sad ending(optional): Preferably happy, but whatever you feel like writing would be fine.
"Masaaki, I need you to go on a B rank mission with Shikamaru, Naruto, and Sakura. You got it?"
"Yes Lady Tsunade. And let me guess, one of them knows what the mission is and I need to ask them, don't I? How fun." Yeah, being sarcastic is nice, isn't it?
"Don't smart ass me! Now get out, you're leaving tonight!"
"Ok great and mighty one!" and before she had time to throw something- probably a sake bottle- I bolted out of the door.
"So, Shika, I'm assuming that you know what the mission is." Sakura said.
"What a drag. Since I'm the only one who knows I need to tell you guys. Ok, we're going to Suna and help Gaara with whatever he needs."
"Yeah! We get to see Gaara again, believe it!" Naruto said, quite excited about this.
"So....w-we're taking a trip? I-i don't think we'll be mu-uch help to th-hem." I stuttured...why did I have to do that whenever Shikamaru is here?!
"Masaaki is right. And how long are we staying there anyway?" Sakura asked.
"For two weeks. Not let's go. This is such a drag."
"Come on Shika, it's not that bad. Helping other people is fun!..........kinda." I said, rubbing the back of my head. I looked towards Naruto. "Now let's go, the sooner we go, the sooner I can see Gaara again!"
'I can't believe I'm talking to him so casually! I need to thank Naruto for being here with me!!'
Now it's not like I like Gaara, he's just a good friend. Along with Naruto, I never looked at him like a monster, he's just someone that no one wants to get to know. And because of this, Naruto and I befriended him.
'Suna here we come!'
"Hey Sakura, Naruto, Shikamaru, and the lovely Masaaki!" Kankuro greeted us, and being the flirt he his, wrapped his arm around me. I smirked.
"Well, thank you for that....but I'm not attracted to boys who play with puppets." Kankuro stood shocked as we passed him to see Temari and Gaara next.
"Hey Gaara. Temari." I nodded at both of them as they said hi back. I was okay with all of them, and soon we headed towards our stay for the weeks we will be spending. It was a nice inn, we got two rooms, but sadly I had to stay with that Fan girl Sakura....
"Oh! Looks like we're gonna be in a room together! We could talk about boys, and do each other's hair-" I took the key from her and walked up to the room, not caring for her mindless talk. Upon reaching the door and going inside, I immediately lay flat on one of the beds. I rolled to the side and looked at the ceiling.
'I wish there were stars on the ceiling....stars are so nice to look at.'
"Hey Maasaki, I'm here!" Sakura smiled at me, hoping to get a reaction. All I said was a 'hey' and went back to looking at the ceiling. I heard her sigh, unpack all her stuff, and went to the next bed.
"Hey Maasaki, why did you stutter when you were talking to Shikamaru. Actually....you only stutter whenever Shikamaru's around."
'Just ignore...just ignore...just ig-'
"YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON SHIKAMARU!!!!" I glared at Sakura.
"Yeah, like I would have a crush on a lazy ass boy...sure..." It hurt me to say that about him, and by the looks of it, it was all in vain. Sakura held that stupid grin, and I cringed.
"You should tell him. Do you want Temari stealing him from you?"
"Temari?"
"Yeah! Did you see the way she looked at Shikamaru?!"
I scoffed, "Who tell you what to do with my life anyway. It's not like he would even care." Sakura just grinned, grabbed a towel and headed for the bathroom.
"Whatever you say, Maasaki."
I slammed a pillow to my face.
'The stars...they look so much nicer in Suna.' I looked behind me to see Sakura in a deep sleep. I smirked and quietly made my way out of the room. Breathing a sigh of relief, I managed to find my way from this maze hotel and find the roof.
"Finally, some fresh air." I stared up the the sky, slowly making my way to the edge of the building. Finally stopping, I plopped myself to the ground, swinging my feet over the edge. Sighing, I laid down on the hard cement.
'Can't believe Sakura....I bet she's just going to say it to everyone when we get home....that little....' I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself. I shut myself from the world for the moment, only focusing on relaxation.
"Maasaki....Maasaki.....hey, Maasaki. Wake up." This voice kept on complaining.
"Damn it, can you just shut up, whoever you are?!"
"Heh, do you really wanna talk to your squad leader like that?" I bit back a scream before I opened my eyes to see that lazy...cute ninja.
"Sh-shikamaru......w-what are you do-iing he-ere?" He smirked.
"Ah, nothing...just came here for air; Naruto bound to die one day with his own smell.......and I heard something that you might want to know about." that look on his face made me tense, and a faint blush was apparent on my face.
"What-t?"
I never noticed that he was leaning closer to me. "You do know that Naruto and I have a room next to yours, right?" he didn't let me answer. "And you do know that...the walls are not soundproof."
"U-uh....and-d?"
He leaned even more closer to where are noses were touching. "I heard Sakura yell something......do you wanna know what it is?"
I quickly shook my head, or...as much as I can....a deep blush was already there, and I cursed myself at how weak I was being right now.
"Oh? You don't? Such a drag, but I'll show you what I thought of it." and in a second, my mind went blank. My body felt as though every bit of it was melted off, and all I could do is watch. His lips were soft and warm, compared to my dry ones. He let go of my lips, smirking while he did so, but I could see the faintest of blushes on his cheeks.
"Shik....Shikamaru?" He looked straight at me. I gulped and summoned up my whole courage to pounce on top of him. Without looking, I successfully planted a kiss on the lazy ninja's mouth. He was shocked for only a second, before he wrapped both his arms around my waist, and starting to kiss me more forcefully.
He never went far(probably because he was lazy) but I didn't mind one bit! He stayed in that same position before we parted for air. We stayed, looking at each other. Then, Shikamaru swayed my around till I was lying right next to him, the stars shining much brighter than before.
"Shika.....thank you."
He only kissed the shell of my ear, "If only we could stay here forever."
